Abby Thornburg, Administrative Office Assistant, LMT

Abby Thornburg has been practicing Massage Therapy since 2018. She completed her training at Denver Integrative Massage School (DIMS) in Denver, CO and has continued her education through various programs. She worked in a spa setting for the last three years and just recently joined The Teggatz Clinic in August 2023.

Abby is new to the functional medicine world but she has witnessed firsthand how treating the body as a whole can greatly improve the body and the mind. She first became interested in massage therapy during childhood when her mother quit her nursing career to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. She never forgot the positive change that massage brought to her mother’s life.

Abby bio

Abby is very interested in the beautiful, and often times complicated, connection between the body and the mind. She feels that receiving massage can help bring a person back to themselves and loves to hold space for that kind of healing to occur. She likes to blend Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and Thai yoga techniques in her sessions in hopes of providing a unique experience for each of her clients. Each session is tailor made to accommodate her client’s individual needs. She is also a Certified Reiki Practitioner and hopes to add CranioSacral Therapy to her modalities in the near future.

Outside of massage, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband and their son, baking, reading, and traveling back to the mountains of Colorado as often as she can.
